Candidate requirements

Participation in the competition is open to scientists, experts and researchers holding positions in scientific and research institutes, universities, and other specialist research organisations. Professionals engaged solely in administrative and organisational activities at these organisations are not eligible.
Everyone is eligible to participate in the Palladium Global Science Award regardless of nationality, race, citizenship, gender, age or religion.
The International Expert Council (Jury) welcomes applications for participation that present scientific ideas, research and developments in palladium-based materials with unique properties that can create large-scale applications of palladium for industries including but not limited to (categories for submission of applications to the competition):
- traditional and alternative energy;
- metals;
- chemicals;
- nanotechnology;
- medicine and biotechnology;
- electronics and microelectronics (including information display devices);
- electrical engineering (including energy accumulators and storage devices);
- construction technologies;
- environmental technologies (including water and air purification).
Applications for participation in the competition and supporting documentation must be provided in English.
